Story about the Gnomes
Story for today
Today I went to my dad's friend's house with my mum and when we got there I saw that he made little houses and I asked my friend, Ross, what those little houses were and he said that houses are actually houses for these short Elves called gnome’s. Ross told hipsters of history he told me that he was reading books about the gnomes and he said that he read that there used to be little people like gnomes that live down underground. When we got home I looked up if all what Ross said was true and it was and this is what I read. Gnomes are shaped as ornamental figurines of various sizes depicting males of a small, mythological humanoid race that lives underground. Their history goes back to ancient Roman mythology, covering centuries of western European tradition. Also, from the very beginning, they were considered to be good luck charms.
Did you know that the Gnomes are known as symbols of good luck. Originally, gnomes were thought to provide protection, especially of buried treasure and minerals in the ground. They are still used today to watch over crops and livestock, often tucked into the rafters of a barn or placed in the garden. |

Coakly's pearl
Story for today
On the farewell day with our principal Paul Coakly my mum gave two sets of pearls as a present to him and his wife so my mum made a pearl necklace and pearl earrings for Mr Coaklys wife and a pearl necklace for Paul Coakley. She handmade all of it from her pearl farm in Vava’u. When I was in Vava’u I always saw my mum work on her pearls and the farm. So every morning she went on her little boat called Titanic to clean the ropes and put the oysters in the rope after seeding it. Sometimes I gave my mum a hand to clean the shells and put oil on the shells before stacking them in a drum. I know it is a hard job because it takes four - six years before you get the pearls so when you harvest the pearls then my mum can carve to make earrings and necklaces.
When my mum told me she will give Mr and Miss Coakly a present I was really happy and really proud of her because it took so many years for her to work to get one pearl. I know my mum really enjoys being happy and likes to work on her pearl farm.
Thank You mum for the lovely present for my Principal.
Story of World War 2
Story for today
World War II was the biggest and deadliest war in history, involving more than 30 countries. Sparked by the 1939 Nazi invasion of Poland, the war dragged on for six bloody years until the Allies defeated Nazi Germany and Japan in 1945.
The major causes of World War II were numerous. They include the impact of the Treaty of Versailles following WWI, the worldwide economic depression, failure of appeasement, the rise of militarism in Germany and Japan, and the failure of the League of Nations. Then, on September 1, 1939, German troops invaded Poland. On September 2, World War II ended when U.S. General Douglas MacArthur accepted Japan's formal surrender aboard the U.S. battleship Missouri, anchored in Tokyo Bay along with a flotilla of more than 250 Allied warships.
My dinner at Fortuna
Story for today
Yesterday on the 3rd me, my two auntys, my mum, my cousin and his girlfriend went on a dinner to a fortuna buffet restaurant. till we all got there we went to the counter to pay for our seats it cost about $292 in cash for every one. After we paid we went to our seats and then went into the line holding a plate to get our food. I think what I got was 3 sushies, 2 garlic bread , 5 fish rolls , lettes, sliced carrots, chips, and krill. After eating I went to get my auntys, mum and myself a drink. My mum wanted a L&P ginger, my aunty Kale wanted a L&P, my other aunty also wanted L&P but I had Cocola. After eating our dinner I saw a man went to this other counter and it had ice cream and every kind of dessert. I was so happy that I saw him go there. If not I won’t have any sweets for the night. I was really happy that I saw it because I get to eat hips of desserts tonight. I quickly went to the counter, grabbed my bowl and I just grabbed whatever I could see I couldn't really finish off so I gave it to Kale. After a little while I was just so hungry so I went up again and grabbed some more sweets but with fruit salad it was really deliouses but by the time we had to leave to go home my tummy started rumbling and that means my tummy wasn’t really Ok. When we went down the elevator my two aunts went to the casino and me and Rick, my mum and Rick's girlfriend went in the car to drop Rick off to a party. Me, my mum and the girlfriend went for a little drive and when we got home we started to have a movie night and the movie that we watched was called fast & furious it was really fun. When the movie was finished my mum and that girlfriend went to bed because it was really cold and also it was past 1 o'clock.

The true story of six Tongan teenage castaways in 1965.
Fifty-five years ago, in June 1965, six Tongan teenagers ran away from their strict boarding school, procured a boat and set sail for what they thought would be a little adventure. A storm damaged the boat, and they ended up shipwrecked on a remote island for 15 months.
Unlike Lord of the Flies, they survived by working together. An Australian sailor spotted the teenagers and rescued them.
One of the six survivors, Sione Fataua, told Jessie Mulligan they ran into trouble the first night, when high winds broke the mast and damaged the boat “in the middle of nowhere”.
The decision to abandon ship and swim towards the island had been a tough one, but had been necessary. When on the island they were exhausted and didn't know where they had landed.
“We hoped that a boat would come by with some people looking for us. The only thing we could do was pray and hope somebody would find us. There was no way we could do anything. We didn’t have a compass, we didn’t have anything.”
The Californian resident said fate had saved their lives, as where the boat had dumped them turned out to be the only hospitable part of the island.
“Without food and water for eight days we thought we were going to die,” he said.
“But God gave us that place and saved us, otherwise we would have died in the ocean.
“We got some eggs and seabirds and ate them raw. Anything we could catch.”
So far guys those are that I could right form a documentary hopefully you guys like the story and there is even a song about castaways so if you want to you could listen to it bye.

There were many interesting facts about sharks, dolphins, Ocean, and Sea , and many kinds of sea animals. Let me show you what I learned.
Did you know that there are 4 different kinds of oceans in this world! These are the four oceans: 1 Indian , 2 Atlantic, 3 Pacific, and lastly the Arctic. The ocean is home to many kinds of animals: sharks, dolphins, different kinds I can’t even name them all. What do guys think living in the ocean world would be like ? How do you think people could survive in the sea ? if you had the guts you could maybe jump into a boat and out into the middle of the ocean and
spend 24 hours there.
Underneath the water there are great hidden mountains, deep valleys , beautiful coral reefs, and even a volcano! How cool is that? One interesting fact, did you know if you X - ray a dolphin's front fin you can see that the bones look like a human’s hand and when you X - ray a dolphin's tail you could see the bones almost like a human's leg so I searched it up if it was true and it was absolutely true.
5 million years ago some of the scientists said that the dolphins actually used to have a human body and ascended onto land and stayed there. Now it was long ago so they now look like a fish.
The salt would be five feet deep. The salt comes from the rocks and soil. Rain and rivers wash it from the land into the ocean. Once there, it mixes with ocean water. Most sea creatures need salt water to stay alive. Did you also know that the ocean covers 140 million square miles of the earth's surface. The ocean in fact can be more than six miles deep.
I really enjoyed this book because it tells you really interesting facts about sea creatures and secrets about the oceans. It is a really fun book and I can’t wait to learn more from it.

Hi guys today I am gonna tell you a story from the book that I shared with you last week, Jack Stalwart.
OK so what I read today is that one night when Jack had a sleep over at Mr K’s place it was a nice big tent. Till Jack got to his bed he started to figure out where his brother Max was located in Egypt while that he started to become cold so he thought that he could just leave the figuring out to look for his brother for tomorrow because it has being a really long day for him looking for the criminal how hunt down elephants and use their tusks to make dollars out of it. While he was sleeping it was past midnight it was like past 3 : 00, so while he was sleeping he woke up from his slumber and there was this noise it went like Ssssssssssss it was pretty scary for Jack to find out what it was suddenly he saw tongues in the shadow and going Ssssssssssssssssss it was creepy. When Jack went back to bed he could hear it again and suddenly he got up, there was a African boom slang snake it was one of the deadliest snakes in Africa. It was a tree snake. If you go near it you will be in danger. The only thing that Jack could do is just lay down and don’t breathe too deep and just don’t make any movements. The African went onto Jack's face and he could feel the cold skin from the snake.
Hey guys it is literally all of the stuff that I remember but as always I will give guys more stories about this book. See y’all.
